Research & Development

Tree and Vine Shelters represent relatively new technology, when considering the lifespan of a forestry or viticulture plantation. Our aim here is to explain and illustrate the technology behind our products.

Tubex' R&D programme is managed by Dr Bhukan Parbhoo. Bhukan's area of expertise is material science and he has been leading Tubex' research into the next generation treeshelter – the biodegradable options.

Our R&D team is supplemented both internally and externally. Tubex staff possess expertise in a range of market sectors. Externally Tubex works with a range of other companies and university research departments.

Tubex is proud to have a Technical Advisory Panel providing independent, scientific and technological expert advice towards our product development programme.
