Tubex People and Tubex Knowledge
The Tubex team combines a range of in-house and external expertise around the world. Our R&D manager, Dr Bhukan Parbhoo, runs a range of projects in collaboration with research institutions in the UK and abroad. In order to assist this development programme, we have a Technical Advisory Panel that helps us to challenge both the technical and practical requirements of our products. Many of our research projects are supported by the Welsh Assembly Government and we are privileged to be part of the prestigious KB4B support scheme.
Our in-house sales team includes expertise and experience in forestry, agronomy, agriculture, fruit and horticulture. We couple this with and rely heavily upon the expertise of our distributors who are invaluable in providing local market expertise.
Tubex Products
We sell a range of products that are all intended to improve the establishment of young plants. Within that portfolio it is the tree or vine shelter that is the key product. It is often said that our Tubex tree and vine shelters sell themselves. There are many individual product features that make our products the preferred choice for many, but it’s the all-round package that is so appealing: fit for purpose, fit for the plant, fit for the planter, fit for your pocket.
Quality is important to us, as highlighted Tubex' recent accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 following the external audit carried out by SGS (UK). This prestigious award for business quality management ensures that Tubex operates to the highest standards of meeting customers requirements. We are also working towards ISO 14001 (environmental management) and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety) standards, having recently acquired Green Flag level 3 accreditation.
Tubex Service
Many of our customers require the product in the right place and at the right time. Weather can play havoc with planting schedules! This is why we operate a combination of direct selling and distribution through sub-distributors.
Tubex Commitment
Through our experience and our commitment to quality we can and do stand behind our products. This is an important consideration when often your plants only have one chance. standard terms and conditions.
