Tim has a strong background in horticulture and has been working in tree shelter sales since 2002 with both Tubex and Acorn Planting products. With the merging of the Tubex and Acorn brands since the acquisition of Tubex Ltd by Fiberweb, Tim will be responsible for integrating the brands, delivering sales growth and improving customer service.

Luis Rego

A native of Brasil, Luis started working life over 20 years ago as an engineer and went on to complete a post graduate degree in marketing. Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Luis manages many of the overseas markets for Tubex and has brought a welcome Latin ‘flair’ to the sales department.

Irina Perry

Irina joined Tubex in 2009 focusing on sales to our new and developing markets. A highly trained and qualified translator and interpreter, Irina is fluent in English, Romanian, Italian and French, and has a wide range of experience having worked within both public and private sector organisations.

Debbie Philippe

Business Development Executive

Debbie recently joined the Tubex team as a Business Development Executive. With a background in Specification Sales and Account Management her experience will enable her to support existing clients and bring on board new accounts. Outside of work she likes to keep fit by riding her horses, walking her dog and doing a daily run or cycle when time permits.

Graduated from Cardiff University with a 2:1 in Business Management with Spanish. Catherine was recruited to assist with Marketing but has recently taken control of Tubex Customer Relations. She is the first port of call for all our customers, both UK and Export.

Carly Crumlish

Carly has migrated from our Acorn brand since the recent integration of the businesses and has extensive experience in dealing with the tree planting industry. She will continue to support customers with both Acorn and Tubex branded products.

Lindsay Mycroft

Lindsay has joined Tubex to strengthen the customer service team since the integration of the Acorn business. She has previously worked in similar markets as a sales team leader and is highly customer focused. 

Gwyn Everett

Gwyn Everett
Transport Manager

Gwyn finds it easy to relate to many of our customers, having first worked for a South Wales forestry contract company – principally felling and planting. Joining Tubex in 1991, he was employed in the warehouse before rising to Transport Manager, co-ordinating deliveries and shipments of goods to all customers – both National and International. Outside of work Gwyn is accomplished in several martial arts, but stresses avoidance as the best way of dealing with violence.
 

Alison Jones

Alison is always full of energy and is fast becoming the glue that binds together the various teams within Tubex. She has a vast amount of experience in office administration, previously working as a PA/Office Manager both within the UK and Abroad. Alison has travelled extensively including sailing across the Atlantic as a crew member on a 46ft yacht.

Richard Tarr

Richard is a member of Tubex' delivery team, travelling the length and breadth of the UK. Richard prides himself with being able to deliver where lesser drivers might fear to place a wheel tread.

John Banks

John Banks
Transport

John has been an essential member of the Tubex delivery team for over 15 years, and to many customers he is the face of Tubex. John specialises in delivery to the most remote of locations throughout the UK.

Craig Owen

Craig Owen
Production Schedule Co-ordinator

With a business degree and nearly 15 years experience in production process planning, Craig assess forward orders, balanced against stock holding and maximising efficiencies on our 8 extrusion lines. Craig was known for his luxuriant locks before joining Tubex 2 years ago, but with nearly 100 SKU’s (stock keeping units) to play with he’s now looking a little ‘follically challenged’ – fortunately, playing cricket for his local village provides some respite.

Johnny Phillips

Warehouse Supervisor

A familiar face about Tubex for the past 13 years, Johnny has worked on the production lines and in the stores, but now acts as Supervisor for goods inwards and loads outwards. A local lad and typically jovial character, Johnny aspires to ensure speedy and accurate loading of lorries in peak season. A keen family man, Johnny spends much of his spare time playing football and keeping fit.
 

Geraint Griffiths

Geraint Griffiths
Production Manager

Geraint had over 8 years experience in Mechanical and Production engineering before joining Tubex in 1996 as a Production Engineer. Now Production Manager his role is to ensure that the production facility at Tubex runs as effectively and efficiently as possible – a task that requires constant attention and refinement, particularly as new products such as Combitube come ‘on-stream’. Geraint's spare time is taken up with his family and coaching Rugby Union to future Welsh Internationals.

Matthew Horne

Matthew Horne heads up the Acorn production since the integration of the business into Tubex. Matthew worked previously at Acorn's premises in Norwich and has vast experience in the production of the Acorn product ranges.

Dr Bhukan Parbhoo

Dr Bhukan Parbhoo
Research and Development Manager

Bhukan joined Tubex in 2005 after 37 years working as a research chemist, with experience in academia and industry. As R&D manager his principle role is to develop the next generation of tree and vine shelter products. He also plays an important part in Tubex' efforts to refine existing manufacturing processes. With his keen interest in nature, Bhukan is also studying Botany to assist in his research.

Mike Williams

Mike Williams
Quality Management

Mike Williams joined Tubex at the start of 2010 having previously worked at Rockwool Ltd.,Bridgend. Mike has taken on the task of upgrading the Quality Management System at Tubex from ISO9001-2000 to ISO9001-2008. Tubex has a good sound Quality Management System, but as with all QMS it needs to be upgraded to enhance improvements.
