Tubex’s Easywrap entry level alternative to spirals led the way at Cereals 2011, a major agricultural event with over 64ha of stands and live demonstrations.
Tubex UK stockist British Hardwood was amongst the first to make its mark on the giant exhibition site at Boothby Graffoe, near Lincoln, where farming company Patrick Dean Ltd hosted the show.
Andrew Henderson, British Hardwood said “Tubex Easywraps were chosen by ourselves and Patrick Dean Ltd for not only their superior protection and enhanced growth benefits but also because they’re more aesthetically pleasing on the eye than spirals. This was a key requirement for the entrance to Cereals 2011.”
“We planted 2,000 metres of new hedgerow at the site. We have mainly supplied Hawthorn saplings, complemented by a mix of Field Maple, Hazel, Spindleberry, Guelder Rose and Dogrose varieties, which have all been protected with Tubex Easywraps,”
British Hardwood managing director Andrew Henderson was clearly in upbeat mood after winning the highly-prized contract that created an impressive and welcoming entrance area for the 25,000-plus visitors who attended this popular technical event for the arable industry.
